GIFFARD PINK GRAPEFRUIT


Giffard is probably my favorite liqueur range, why? Well let's start with their extensive range of standard liqueurs as well as their off the wall styles as well. How about some Rhubarb Liqueur or their Pink Grapefruit Liqueur. I will probably review a fair few of their products in the coming weeks, but for now I will be looking at the Pink Grapefruit Liqueur.

Giffard is a French company that has been around since 1885, in that time they have really perfected the natuaral maceration of fruits in liqueurs. The Pink Grapefruit is no different. It is a balanced blend of sweet & tart, it uses the acidity and natural tartness of grapefruit and the alcohol perfectly.

It is a perfect addition to any cocktail, whether it be a mojito or caipirihinha or something completely new. Use a spirit that has a backbone to add it with though as the liqueur can out shine such spirits as vodka and white rum.
